MYRE

Nacido en Chicago ,  Nick Torgoff alias Myre  vive en  París, donde comenzó a   practicar el graffiti en 1990.

 

A principios de la década de 2000 realiza su primer viaje a América Latina.

Su estilo es una gran unión entre
las  herramientas  de escritura y una práctica  urbana que surge de las reglas  heredadas  de la edad de oro de Nueva York.

 

Desarrolla  en sus letras un len- guaje geométrico univeral influen ciado po sus viajes a Chile.

Esta  investigación cromática si- gue siendo esencial en su trabajo reciente  el cual  se acerca a la figuración.

MYRE trabaja en su taller y desa- rrolla una investigación personal en torno a  la estética de la es- critura y su encuentro con la his toria del arte.
